If Ron was fired during the season, who would be the interim head coach?

Rivera has always made it were their is no coach who could take his job. If we were to fire him we would have no DC to speak of. So he want go till after the year.

Perry Fewell could be a DC.  He's done it for 2 different teams.

Now granted he wouldn't be a good one but...

Perhaps I should overly spell out every single statement because everyone on this board is a sarcastic little sh*t.

Cam Newton's poor performance was the greatest hindrance to the team, and the majority of the reason we lost.  It was not, however, the only reason.  Thank you, your honor.

No. It wasn't.

If Ron gets fired. Tepper will hire  someone connected to the pittsburgh steelers organization. Bank on it

I understand Tepper was part owner  of the Steelers, however, I am not convinced he will go that route..... I am sure he wants to establish his own identity as a owner.

That said, I actually think he will be ballsy and hire someone outside the box.  The league is going younger and he wants to play to the younger crowd so a McVayish coach could appeal to the masses.

    • You’re right. I was thinking of the GB game with the silly reach for the goal line when he wasn’t close that turned into a goal line fumble. I do remember all the discussions in here about end of the game interceptions and bad passes, etc. but that wasn’t against the Chiefs. That said, still the best season by a QB since Cam. Best 4 game run was Darnold to start 2021, but best full season was Teddy. That makes me really sad.
    • Agreed. I think they never seriously considered him an option even though he was/is miles better than Darnold.  I think the ego stuff was massively overplayed. He was played for the Browns, a disaster organization, and he accomplished more than they have in years. He came here to another diaster organization that happened to be worse than Cleveland and he didn't succeed. But, how could he? Frankly, who the fug could? I think our general fanbase really underestimates how terrible this organization truly is. It can nuke anyone.  poo, you see how Stroud is struggling with a damn good Texans team? Can you imagine how bad he would be here in our circumstances?? He can thank his lucky stars we made the choice we did.
    • I think the vast majority of QBs only thrive or die based on their situations. But some are capable of making everyone else around them better in a way they redefine, or at least elevate, those situations. And some of the former group also just never will really have "it" when the moment matters. So far it feels like Bryce either needs the perfect situation or he just doesn't have "it". I suppose we'll get the season to see if that changes, but to call me skeptical is an understatement.
