This loss is equal parts Cam, equal parts offensive line.

Cam was maddeningly inaccurate, we all have eyes. If he keeps playing like that he isn't going to be here moving forward so why are people continuing to take such glee in pointing this out? Even with Cam gone like some fans want, uh we still need a QB. Grier is very raw, either way we're likely drafting another one.

More concerning than the QB position moving forward though is the at times Shulaesque playcalling from Norv. I think he's a dinosaur and his time passed long ago. What a perfect fit with Ron who still thinks he's coaching in the 1980's. We desperately need a refresh and innovative ideas.

Cam threw a ball slightly behind Curtis over the middle last night that he had to turn for and he dropped. But most nfl WRs make that catch and it’s all day to run after the catch because the field was wide open. Bad throw by Cam but very catchable and Curtis straight up muffed it. He isn’t without fault either.

34 year old Greg Olsen was the Panthers leading receiver.

There are many issues holding this offense back. But one fact I think Panthers fans need to start facing is maybe Samuel and Moore just aren't that good. At least not yet. They are still developing, they're still very raw.

Whoever the QB will be for the Panthers in the next year or two, I think we should dispense with hyping up receivers until they actually start catching touchdowns in the regular season.

I’ve said this all off season. We still don’t have a legitimate #1 WR. Youngest starting WR duo in the NFL paired with a mix match offensive line.

Watched the game with some non panther fans last night that actually don’t like Cam but had to admit we don’t give him the chance to be successful.

He threw a game winning touchdown yesterday but the offensive line got in the way. Again

Actually, he wasn't.

But we asked him to be.

Heck, we expected him to be.

As much as anything, I think that's a big reason why we're in the position we are right now.

He was the one with the whole Superman celebration, just saying he was a pretty active participant in the who gestalt.

And we’re doing it again with CMC.

No argument.

Can't blame crappy coaching decisions on a celebration, though.

Playcalling was horrendous too. Not argument from me there

It actually wasn't. The protections had to be revamped to keep Williams from looking like a turnstile but we had multiple guys open all night. But the Bucs were blitzing all night and using single coverage  loading the box daring Cam to beat them. And he failed to do it.  There is no gameplan that works when your QB can't complete a pass to a wide open receiver literally 10-15 yards down the field. You are blaming Norv and ignoring the huge elephant in the room.

He did complete passes to wide open receivers. He also missed. The oline also couldn’t block for poo. It’s very hard to get a qb into a rhythm when your oline is constantly getting abused. This is a culmination of many things, Cam being shellshocked and inaccurate, oline (Williams was straight poo last night) and norv’s horrendous situational play calling.

I know you don’t like to blame coaches ever, but there is no excuse for some of the plays he called, including the extremely obvious one that ended the game.

There is no excuse for norv just like cam, I watched 3 plays in a row where they left Williams on a island and cam get hit 3 times in a row causing a quick 3 and out. He called no screens except 1 before the half, didn’t motion cmc for mismatches or put him in the slot, fueled the reason the bucs should jailhouse blitz  more by attempting 51 pass attempts, and completely abandon the run up until that dumbass play call on the last play. To top it off idk what’s up with the lack of usage from players like Ian Thomas, armah, Scarlett or bonnafon

Seemed like the only time they were getting thrown to downfield was along the sideline covered well on low percentage plays that the Bucs were well prepared for and expecting. We had no answer.

As much as it's on the QB to obviously get the ball in their hands, we should have done a better job with the scheme/playcalling. Those struggles were capped off with a baffling call on 4th and 1 for the game.

Norv definitely deserves a large part of the blame. For whatever reason, Cam isn't displaying the same touch he's had in the past on the deep ball. Arians took away the run and short game and dared cam to go deep. Norv continued to call same game he's called since it was Troy and emmit in the backfield. Weight hogan and Samuel are great route runners and Moore has potential to score on every catch. We needed change the plan!

That being said, when they did get open...cam had to actually see them and throw them the dang ball.
