For real.  Instead of putting Daryl at RT, where he was All-Pro a couple years ago, we put him at LT where he had historically struggled.  And put Moton, who played well at LT last season, at RT.  Classic Ron

I could understand if William's was the best option but one other guy is a rookie (which Ron loves) and the other guy we refuse to try there with no reason why after him looking good there last year

Remember Williams needed help on the right side as well during his all pro year.

What I was trying to point toward was that maybe, just maybe if Ron would get animated up there, talk about certain play calls, explain what was going on with the weather, what they were working on with the last play of the game....anything....it would be better than his canned responses.

If I were in hot water, I would be doing everything within my power to sway good thoughts and support my way...I think that All or Nothing did that, but it's gone just like that.

Probably going through the motions just like the team this year.

if Rivera had any guts he would bench Cam and go with Grier to see what the rookie can do and it will show us if we need to draft another qb in the future or not but we all know Rivera will still play Cam in attempt to save his Job.

Grier was a healthy scratch lol. They simply don’t believe in his ability at this point.

Rustiness doesn't mean looking like a rookie after eight years

Cam did say he felt like a rookie.. A rookie that can't throw. He is limited in everyway and the frustration shows cause well what he used to do is no longer possible. I wonder how Ron feels that he ended that man's career by not being a supportive coach. Once in a lifetime t talent just fell off a cliff with a hard push.

He is lying.  If he thought Cam's rustiness was due to only having 4 days to prepare for the Rams and 1 day for the Bucs--and that last year's lack of practice was a factor---why do you not play him in preseason?  You could play him and let him hand off and work the short passing/screen game if there was tenderness.  Instead, you are going to give away real games so your QB can lube up his rusty spots during the season?

Not buying it.  There is more to this.

Ron’s calling plays now. I don’t think people realize how big of a responsibility that can be. He no longer gets to focus on the high-level stuff, like timeouts and clock management and the flow of the game.

Is this a joke? Rivera, regardless of calling the defensive plays or only being a head coach, has been the WORST head coach since he came in the league when it comes to any situational scenario regarding the clock.

Calling plays and head coaching/ time management sure doesn't seem to be an issue for Sean Mcvay or Sean Peyton.

This team needs a leadership palate cleanse from GM to Head Coach to QB. I like Cam, but we need a future plan and Hurney doesn't care about any future plans. He has always and will always live in the moment. Rivera's future plans are only a missed opportunity away.

The proper move was to find a proven, adequate defensive coordinator with experience in multiple schemes. This back-and-forth with Eric Washington, and then just giving the play calling duties back to Ron, it doesn’t feel very analytics driven. It feels sloppy and cheap.

And before you tell me how great the defense has played: They have played slightly above average. With all the attention on the new scheme that isn’t really a new scheme, and with the added pressure on Ron having to call plays, folks had higher expectations than this.

yeah that was really his strong suit before

Ron is no longer doing press conferences.  Meet his new press representative.

Awk.  Missed opportunities.  Awk.  We have to be better.

Ron has forgotten the art of motivation.  You aren’t dictating to the other team.  You lose on your heels in this league

The Ravens...they are attacking on both sides of the ball...would not surprise me if they win it all.  With CJ Mosley that is...gotta have that monster

I say the Ravens because that coaching staff has been there and redefined their team.

Not that I agree with it, but I think the idea is if you move Moton to LT, you have to move him back to RT when Little is ready causing more shuffling of the line.
