I was wondering the same as well if he could help Allen on the sidelines. If swelling is the reason he's not flying it makes me think it's more serious than they are letting on. I've flown with sprains before and it wasn't that bad and I was in coach.

Him not playing yes.  Him not traveling? No.  If he is the “LEADER” of this team I think he should travel.  If we are trying to do everything we can to win the ballgame then why not have the “Leader” there to assist, coordinate, and wave some Pom Poms.  Unless we are not actually doing everything to actually win this game.

I don’t think he needs a “mental” break from the game. He’s a 30-year-old professional. He’s a veteran leader of this team.

A lot of guys play hurt. Sorry, I’m not buying that.

I understand the theory. And I understand why many feel he needs that time off. I think he needs to get his foot right, and then play football. If the mental game improves along with that, all the better.

This is sort of my thinking . . . I'd kind of like him there to help Kyle out.

I can understand that, but overall it probably is best for him to just rest and rehab so I don't really have a problem with it.

Gimme a break with the "he's a leader and needs to be there..." crap. Or the, "maybe he can help out (insert QB starter of the day here) on the sidelines....."  bullshit.

Can anyone show me the last time he actually displayed either of those characteristics on the sideline?
