Great win today, much needed for the fan base.

What to do at QB?

You don't bench Kyle Allen after that type of performance, especially with the easiest portion of the schedule still ahead. You play him and see if he sustains that type of extremely high level of play.

What about Cam?

Cam's foot sprain was given two weeks to heal in preseason, and it got reinjured on a simple scramble. Obviously it needs more time.

The solution is simple.

You play Kyle Allen for at least the next two weeks and let Cam fully heal his foot. If at that time Kyle Allen is still playing at a high level you keep him in. You never bench a QB with a hot hand. If he looks average to below average, you put Cam back in.

 

Above all else, the Panthers need to keep winning.

Still too soon to know if Allen is the real deal, but you have to stay with him until he shows you he is or he isn't.

You simply cannot take a QB playing like Allen did today out of the lineup.  Let Newton rest until after bye week and then re-evaluate the QB situation.

Yep.  Might take longer for Cam’s foot to heal than 2 weeks. As soon as he’s healthy he’s back in unless Allen looks like today against legit teams between now and then. 

Allen keeps playing like today, he stays in regardless.

Whatever mojo happened today was contagious and keep rolling with it until it stops and hopefully it doesn’t.

Allen has to pull himself with bad play at this point.  It got contagious for the entire team today.  We finally got to see some synergy from this team.

Oh yeah. You have to let the young'un keep playing if only to rest Cam & really see if Allen can keep this up. If he can, the decision needs to be made then.
