Greg Little

Greg Little still has the outside possibility of being able to play Sunday.

Cam Newton has a 0% chance of playing, regardless of being in attendance.

Air Pressure effects body based injuries, like what Cam Newton has.  As far as I know, it doesn't have any recovery effects on someone on the tail end of concussion protocol.

Cam Newton was not the only player missing from the flight.

It is crazy to me how people don't understand this, and act like there is no difference.

If you were sick, what seems like the more daunting task?  Flying about an hour to go relax at home, or a 6 hour cross country flight to a foreign land to go support all of your friends at a party?

There is definitely a difference.

Its really not.  Sustained air pressure is a commonly known issue that can effect a player recovering from injury.

There was an articule last year about Deshaun Watson not flying with the Texans to Jacksonville, instead taking a bus.  Just to avoid the sustained air pressure effect on a bruised leg and injured ribs.

I can respect that, but if flights are deemed bad for his recovery why would he go on any?

I just feel feel like the reason he is not with the team is a simple one- no chance of playing, maybe it’s a team policy to not travel to London if you aren’t going to play. I can’t imag that the cost would be the factor but maybe there is just some internal protocol in effect here.

I don’t buy the gloom that there is something “else” going on- Cam is the QB. When he is healed he will be back. For better or for worse.

Yep. When you fly all the blood in your body goes to your feet/legs causing swelling and inflammation. Even with compression gear, it can still raise concerns with any type of injury.

Cam really has the audacity to spend his bye week with his loved ones by taking a 1 hr flight :eyeroll:

Not a social media person. But do we know he went to Atlanta for sure? Seems kind of odd he’d be showing up at the airport just about when it would be time to board a flight to London.

I'm so glad we're not all wasting our precious time on this earth speculating as to where a rich young pro athlete might be going in an airport when he's not playing for the team we support this weekend, cause that would really be a thing that had no real bearing on the team, but just kind of made us all look sadly obsessive.

the audacity of CLT for having other departing flights when the Panthers are clearly traveling to London!!!!!!!!

Well, this might be an indication that he is almost all healed up and ready to go then.  Maybe the injury part is pretty much cleared up, and now he just needs to get his strength and whatever back?

    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
