you fool, a competitive professional football player saying "i'm good, i can play" isn't lying in the ethical sense you're clearly trying to push in your trash bag post and nor does it excuse a professional coaching staff for not managing a competitive player when this is what competitive players do. stop posting pleeeeeeease

Might be a bit harsh here. Now, if he'd used a better word than "lied" about the injury, his post would have been less inflammatory.

People in our fanbase are blind to the rest of the NFL. They don't realize how awful even the average GM is in the draft.

Blind?  Nose blind to Hurney's stink maybe.  Check it out; Hurndog has had the most opportunity in the position he now holds(13 out of 25 years) to put his everlasting DNA in our franchise(gross).  Who else other than JR can make such a boast?

What do we have to show for his work?  A few good draft picks and 2 SB L's to haunt us?  No thanks.  Bag that poo up and get the boot a second time.

PS.  He was not even interviewed by another team the whole time he was out of football, until Jerry-atric Richardson went full Old-Timers and brought him back.  #Dafuq you say?

Just look at your name. Who's ALT are you? Why not post this on your main account? Are you afraid of getting tarred and feathered again?

Figured this was coming. That type injury, even if he tried to rest it, would only be reaggravated once he started playing again. The only road to any true recovery is surgery. Even then the foot goblin is just waiting to get Cam again. This isn’t even considering the shoulder which we don’t really know if it’s ok. Im thinking Cam is done for the year and I doubt he will be a Panther next season. Major changes this offseason. Please show the coaches the door as it happpens.

But hold on a second....if the foot is not getting any better then why has he started sprinting on a treadmill and working out in practice without the boot?  Why did he make the trip to San Fran and stand on the sidelines if the foot has not gotten any better?

This.

My question is why are you only now sending your franchise qb to-the top foot guy in the country? Why wait til he’s been out over a month before involving the top guy? You have 20 million invested in Cam this year, that’s over a million a game. Whatever it might cost you to immediately involve the top professional after an injury pales in comparison to what you’re paying Cam to not play per game.

Honestly, if Cam is done for the season and the season then spirals out of control (honestly, I think both are decently likely) we need to get a look at Will Grier at some point. That may necessitate either A) firing Rivera (my preference) or B) ensuring Reviera another year (gulp).

No Just fuggin no.  I completely disagree.  No sense throwing a rookie out there that has some potential , only to get to get his ass ripped apart by a sub par o line and poor coaching and have any confidence he has shattered.  That is moronic.

That said if Cam is done and Allen gets hurt which is a definite possibility, we will see Grier.  But if Allen stays healthy he plays.

FYI: The guy they're sending him to actually used to work for the Panthers.

(he apparently worked on Jonathan Stewart's foot issues)

    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
    • At least we don't need to hear overreacting about towels ...
    • Actually there is, try being a Charlotte Hornets fan. I mean the team fuging moved at its peak and hasn't recovered since and that was 25 years ago
