shaq shouldn’t have played last week....he was never there mentally

The whole defense was gashed let's not look for excuses.

Being around his brothers and working is a method of coping. We don't know for sure either way, let's not say he "shouldn't have played" based on nothing.

No that sh!t stays with u, he should have never been out there. He looked out of it, I watched him a couple times. Football is not that damn important.

There's been plenty of players who have lost loved ones who have talked about how being in the locker room helped.

There have been plenty of people who enjoyed their job who have talked about how work has helped them cope.

Just because it's entertainment for us it can be something they enjoy.

On the other hand you could be right, being with his family is what could've been best for him. We don't know what was best for Shaq because we're not Shaq.

My entire point is we don't know for sure, why make baseless speculation over this? Why play armchair psychology right here right now?

My perspective has changed quite a bit this year. Not that I was ever a raving lunatic about football before, but I’m certainly more aware of these issues when it comes to players being humans. I can’t imagine how gut-wrenching that news was. Hope he finds some peace. He’s a good guy. He’s also a very good football player.
