Watching Lamar Jackson is a painful reminder just how hurt Cam has been

Easy to forget that Newton was doing that as recent as 2017. He was our leading rusher, and nearly led the offense to a playoff upset in NO with an absurdly thin WR core. Also started out 2018 with early MVP whispers.

Shame so many are unwilling to give him the benefit of the doubt. But then again they never did to begin with. Just waited for the next opportunity to say I told you so.

It all began with TJ Ward, Week 1, 2016 IMO and then we ran him into the ground in 2017 and gave him an awful awful OL.

2017 was the year that f*cked him up and he somehow retooled into having a great 2018 until we all know what happened against TJ Watt.  2017 really wore him down IMO and that's what he's still working back from as much as the injuries.  DG and Rivera really served him crap for years and Cam had to figure out new ways to win in spite of them.

It's al these damn TJs.

BLAME TJ.

That being said, I can see him coming back with fire but also retire so it's just such a mixed bag scenario all around.

Lamar looking like 2015 Cam Newton out there. Pisses me off to no end what could have been under competent coaching and health management.

Also, I'm drinking bourbon.

Love,

If you think it pisses you off, think of Newton

If Newton goes, I want Hurney and Ron out of here. They have had nine years with newton, Luke, Christian, to get it done, they haven’t

we have Marv Lewis less then character issues

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
