And an OL. The OL is a bigger problem than Allen.

Th OL has been a mess, but largely because of injuries. We have pieces there. Allen has been hit or miss but has not instilled confidence as a franchise QB. QB is the most important question mark on the team right now as far as players go.

I think it's doubtful he's a franchise QB, but I don't think he's one of the five worst starters in the NFL. I do think our OL is likely one of the bottom five units in the NFL.

I honestly don’t want to hear about OL injuries. That unit is trash and make shift at best. I think this is the perfect draft to trade back, get an extra 2nd, and draft the best 3 OLs we can get in the first two rounds. LOAD UP. We lack quality depth and competition. Getting 3-4 studs on rookie deals allows the best competition, and if we load up in the second round, we get quality talent at the right price.

Agree about Allen.  And I sat that as someone who's not ready to turn over the keys to the franchise to him.

But he did quite well today in spite of overall bad offensive line play.  Maybe his best outing all things considered.

Romo called the offensive line out several times today, and it was all warranted.  I tend to give Little & Daley more leeway b/c they are rookies.  Paradis and Turner are both paid like top-10 in their position, and they are repeatedly getting blown up.  That is almost as big of a problem as the run defense this year.  Even Cam ain't escaping these pressures right up the middle.

Turner, Moton, & Little are all highly drafted, and Paradis was supposed to be the best FA center available.  I'm hoping with time and health things will be different, but this unit has been a major disappointment.

Agreed on Turner and Paradis. We may need to part ways with both. I mean, if you're gonna suck, either be young with upside (Little and Daley) or be cheap (Van Roten). Sucky and expensive is a really bad combo.

45 yards behind Julio Jones.

Too bad his play in today's game is being overshadowed by Slye's terrible kicking. But I think we've finally found Smitty's replacement.

thank you for posting this.  I haven't looked at receiver stats since Smitty left.  Guess I'll be checking more often.

The most amazing thing is that he's done it with our QBs and Oline.

Yeah, he's way too valuable at WR to put him out there for punt returns, especially with Rashaan "Kamikaze" Gaulden flailing around out there.

I get the impression that isn't gonna be a problem anymore.

If it is, don't even know what to say to that.
