What is a bigger problem? Defense or QB?

Possible unpopular opinion, but is the defense is a bigger problem than whoever is playing QB? Right now the defense has been getting roasted every week. Cam Newton coming back isn’t going to fix the many major problems on defense.

Defense, but the offense is trying it's best to catch up.

The scheme revision we made this season killed it.  I think we've also learned how substantial of a piece Short is.  He is a very well balanced multi-tech DT.  Sack totals be damned.

Cam is our Franchise QB fug the doubters. Run defense and defensive play calling is our biggest weakness

defense is for sure a larger problem than the offense atm.

i don't think you want kyle allen starting next season or anything, but this d needs a complete overhaul

Six of one, half a dozen of another.

Both are issues. Neither is doing the other any favors. Defense puts the offense in a hole and the offense can't pull itself out.

Defense by far. So many pieces needed to fix it and our best player (Luke) and promising rookie (Burns) dont fit in the same scheme.

OL, entire defense save for like two players.

QB is literally last on the list, especially since we expect a healthy Cam back or a first round pick, hopefully the former.

Better question is Defense or LT. Because we have options at QB. We don't have many options at LT or DE/DT/NT
