I’m scared Grier is gonna pull a Gardner Minshew / Kyle Allen and look awesome, blow our Draft position, then melt down sometime early next season.

I know the tankathon is on everyone's mind but I rather see Grier have some really good success. Especially if he shows poise and wins without a doubt. That's just me tho. I'd rather "find" the QB of the future in him and work on the trenches in the draft.

If Grier plays well, and then again the following week, even if we lose 4 spots in the draft, at least we know we have something at QB.

If he does well, I dread the "Cam vs Grier" barrage of threads.  Some still can't let go of the "Cam vs Allen" situation.

Will we know we have something in a QB?  Kyle Allen looked pretty great his first couple of weeks too, and now we are talking about benching him for Will Grier.

CMC goes for nearly 200 yards receiving and I get a ton of fantasy points for it.

I mean, to be fair, defensive meltdown is kind of a given at this point.

We have exactly one game this year where we held an opponent under 20 points.

A win against the Colts, and then a win against the Saints second string would be devastating if we need a franchise QB when the draft rolls around.

really all you want out of grier is for him to show enough we could fleece someone for a draft pick

the team is not going into next year with either of these guys as their projected starter
