I really like Love. Throws a very catchable ball and gives his guys a chance.

I’d much rather have Love over Hebert. It’s not even close for me

He has the best upside in the draft from a dual threat QB standpoint.  Had a weird year but the talent is there.

I wouldn't at all be opposed if we think he has the acumen to take the next step.  Decision making and pre-snap seem to be his biggest areas to improve which are super coacheable.  His throwing motion is super smooth but is no doubt a wildcard.  Wildcard bitches!

Herbert, Fromm, Eason, Hurts, etc. all have fairly big concerns from a limitation or intangible standpoint.  Love is groomable so I see him being a rather intriguing prospect and could be good behind Cam.  If they don't think he's ready and Cam goes down, we have Allen.

So smooth.

He makes some stupid accurate throws while on the move look easy with a flick of the wrist. Has this calm look to him in my opinion as well.

Throws a really nice deep ball

Yeah, he makes the big throws look easy.  If he can get his game in tune, he could be a pretty great quarterback IMO.  I just really like the potential.  I don't think he's worth a late 1st trade up, and like many would love a C or starting lineman in the early rounds, but he could be a really interesting choice R2.

This mock would be pretty cool.

I would be very, very happy with these first two rounds. I would be happy with Love in the 2nd, but have a sneaky feeling a team like New England or maybe New Orleans snags him at the end of the 1st.

I would also like Winfield Jr. in the 3rd round. If we can walk away with Thomas, Love and Winfield Jr after 3 picks..... I see a helluva start to the draft.

    • Let's pause a sec and rewind. The hype for Bryce Young before we drafted him was beyond anything I've seen in a long time. If you're trying to tell me now after all the hoopla about his ability to make those around him better and the comparisons to hall of fame players across different sports leagues that him taking the next step this year fully hinges on Adam Thielen then we're probably already doomed. Thielen is not going to keep any defenses up at night. He has good hands and very low YAC. We have 4 young WR's ahead of him with potential that need crucial development and we certainly need to find out what we have in them sooner rather than later because regardless of what transpires this season the QB room should undoubtedly be getting a hard reset. Those reps need to go to the young WR's regardless. Bryce needs to step up and take ownership of the relationship between himself and his young receivers. That's why we drafted him.
    • #Raiders WR wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has requested a trade, per a league source. NFL Network first to report   https://x.com/josinaanderson/status/1960060238213546417?s=46
