It was a joke thread in a series of other joke threads about various former players and coaches going the coaching staff including Jonathan Vilma, Mike Singletary, Colby Bockwoldt (who was a mediocre player), Zach Line (who was our FB and just retired), Wade Phillips, Terry Tate, and Ray Lewis.

My favorite thing about these is Luke always got way more excited after making a play as a result of his film study than his athleticism lol.

We all remember plenty of moments where Luke went nuts right before a play because he saw something.

This video does a good job a showing just how complicated the decisions he made in those moments were.

It's amazing the amount of information that he was able to process in just a matter of seconds.

Watching this  great video showing why Luke Kuechly is one of the all time great NFL linebackers left me feeling proud of him but sad knowing that i will not be able to ever watch him make those unbelievable plays again.

Does anyone think Luke may take a few years off to get right, and then come out of retirement to play again? I mean I doubt it but the thought just occurred to me.

This type of stuff just confirms that those great panthers defenses were Luke’s defenses. Ron had little to do with it.

As soon as Luke’s abilities started to slip and teams found ways to counter him, our D went down hill with it.

As soon as Star left, we didn't address the secondary, he had to pick up some of TD's duties, and we didn't have any athleticism at DE.....yea he started to slip.

End of the day, Luke, like every other player in the NFL, cannot carry an entire side of the ball.

Luke's prime was 8 seasons.

I don’t wanna count on it, but that would be great. Hell, really no reason Cam couldn’t do the same thing if his foot or shoulder doesn’t behave this year and our line still sucks.
