I had never listened to him before but had always heard good things by people in this forum who had.

Honestly?  I wasn't very impressed.

Again, he needs some refining.  He has the voice, the knowledge and the charisma.  His problem right now is he's broadcasting like he having a casual phone conversation.  A bit more polish and stick to the merits of the game without all the sidebar jabbering and he will be just fine.

of the 3 times i've heard him 1 was pretty good.  the other 2 he was flat and sounded a little robotic.  robots need to do kung fu when they're voices are a little flat and i saw none of that.

I actually enjoyed it and was pleasantly surprised when I found out he was calling the game. Pulled at my heart strings a bit when he referred to some past practice squad and camp body guys as his guys.

XFL has some potential. I like that it pretty much allows me to keep my routine weekend schedule of beer and hot wings on the couch or at my desk for a few more months. Haven't picked a team to attach to yet tho. Hopefully it has the chance to grow because there aren't very many opportunities for growth and development for players that don't make the 53 man NFL roster. poo, there aren't many for some that do.

    • just read the thread. I would like to say that the team not being sold to Tepper is an absolute banger of an answer and probably the right one

Initial gut reaction when I first thought of this question is Kasay kicks it in bounds on the kickoff, but unfortunately I still think New England wins that game even with that My second instinct was pulling Bene out before he breaks his leg in the playoffs. My crackpot theory is if he never gets hurt we win the superbowl. I refuse to go back and watch the game but at some point Peyton throw an absolute duck that should have been pick 6'd. but because we were on our like fifth outside corner he was slow to the ball. this would have completely flipped that game because I'm pretty sure Denver scored that drive and the next one was the Cam sack fumble
