Could signing Okung mean that both Daley and Moton are sliding inside?

I hope we move Little inside to OG. I'm not sold on it working out, but moving him inside could allow Hurney to save face on that trade up and keep OT on the board at #7. This is the strongest OT class in recent memory and Okung is a 31 year old bandaid while both he and Moton are only on one year deals. OT at #7 needs to be in play.

I would rather see him at RT than G. Moton is probably the best skill wise to take over RG.

Could be a crazy move but one that would solidify our line. Draft a LT early and play him at RT. He would get experience while Okung could hold the LT spot down. Crazy to think but would be a great move.

Not crazy at all...his,

Moton,destiny is inside

If I'm being honest I don't really care. I'd rather keep Moton at RT simply because it's harder to find tackles than guards. I honestly don't expect Little to last in the NFL regardless of position.

Theres no saving face if Little is moved to guard. Trade up in the 2nd to get a guard in a draft full of guards that could be had in the 3rd.

#Hurneyma....

Fug it I cant even say it sarcastically anymore

Moton is a stud RT.  Not sure why anyone would want to.move him inside.

The play of the interior will dramatically improve with improved play from the center. I'm not going to judge our current center after only 1 season in which he was coming back from surgery.  Wouldn't have matter who we put back there, it wouldn't have been as good as Kalil. Not against drafting a center, but I'm not holding my breath that the draft falls that way.

I don't understand the logic.

Who would play RT in this scenario?

Moton and Daley are the only players on our team with RT experience. Little only ever played on the left side and he's coming off severe injuries and looked downright bad when he was actually on the field. Daley too.

Daley, vet or a rookie.  Little is probably moving inside and as most people observed our interior was horrendous last year.   So Okung, Williams, Paradis, Moton and Daley/other.  We draft 1-2 OL this year to groom the future.  Preferable a center prospect that can back up Paradis for a year, then replace him and a tackle prospect either serve as the swing tackle this year or start out as the RT and move over in 2021 to the left side.

I still don't understand how people think one of the most un-physical OTs I've ever seen is just gonna slide inside and become a mauler.

I want to see him at LG trying to block Derrick Brown. If You think Brown threw Soloman Kindley340 lbs) around(and he did for a couple years) imagine where Little would wind up.

I don't understand the logic of replacing Moton (A good RT) with Daley (a bad RT) just to move Moton inside when we could just stick Daley inside where he would do better and not shuffle literally everyone around.

Like Moton at RT is a B, Moton at RG is an A.

Daley at RT is an F and Daley at RG is a C.

I just feel it's better to pair the B with the C than the A with the F.

    • This season only ends one way... We win this Sunday. Bryce is decent. We take back 1st place...   Only to then get our brakes blown off in the last two weeks.
    • Here's one of the most maddening things, that will be shown in full light over the next three weeks. The same people around here that called Darnold a bum and Mayfield a washed up over draft are also the ones saying Bryce is a catastrophe. Yeah, and I've been one who said Bryce wasn't big enough, brave enough or capable enough. I said back in the day that Darnold had a lot of fight in him and got shouted down. And on Mayfield, heck I didn't know, I just knew we had a very, very bad team that was run terribly. But I saw both of those guys go out there and resurrect their careers and be play-off bound since shaking the Carolina clay dust off their cleats. And we sat there and cat called their cars as they pulled out of the parking lot, laughing at what nobodies they were. Over the next three weeks, those two guys may just serve us sh!t sandwiches and then settle down to their just desserts. And then we'll probably let Bryce go off into the realm of other teams. And when that happens, will we see him coming back, better than before and we're left to re-sit this cycle all over again? Same naysayers, same results, same revolving carousel of ponies and pundits?  Will we end up looking like the Temu version of the San Diego Chargers back in the day watching Drew Brees come to fruition in the previously moribund Superdome while we whiff on a Manning pick just to be jilted for Phillip "Always a Bridesmaid" Rivers?
