All you have to do is look to Italy. They've been on lockdown for a week and their new caseload is still climbing. This virus has an incubation period of up to 14 days (though I think the average is 4 days). A week is going to make practically no difference at all. I'm watching Italy for when their new caseload levels off and then starts declining.

Given the incubation period and contagiousness of the virus, I think the peak will happen sometime early to mid next week. I say that knowing jack poo about infectious diseases, but having a really good grasp of forecasting mathematics. If they're new caseload is still climbing this time next week, that's gonna be an "oh poo" moment for me.

So once I week or every other week I try to cross the border with my mom and get groceries for both of us. Well, looks like the USA/MEX border is closed at my location. Anyone with higher authority know if poo is about to hit the fan? I have some former military buddies from the USA telling me that some major poo is about to go down. I'd say more but I know they might be watching....>_>   <_<   >_>

Try quitting with Velo 4.  I’ve been dipping for 30 years and it was surprisingly easy switching to it.  I haven’t had a dip in 3 months now and don’t miss it one bit.

I have actually heard the same from a friend. If they start mobilizing the military and declare martial law, this country is over. Mark my words.

Ok I just read news this morning that the government expects to lose over 2.25 million jobs this month alone. Other news agencies are stating that our economy may hit depression era level by mid summer. I would like to believe that if we force everyone to stay home for two weeks this nightmare would be over. I think it is the only answer.

TBH, IMO the push towards another great depression will largely be because of these quarantine measures.

This virus and the reactions to it are exposing how fragile our economy is. It is also highlighting how deep the problem of income inequality is.

Yes I think two weeks. Those that are asymptotic will have gotten sick. We can begin to stop the spread of this disease. If we can stop the spread we can begin to recover.
