I don't think I am the only Panthers fan that sincerely hopes they capture the magic of that 2 win season here in Carolina in 2020.

I'd hate every minute of it, but that's the kind of season that gives you a shot at Lawrence or Fields.

people are so dumb for losing their minds about this. this guy was responsible as much as rhule for the turnaround that took place with temple, and the turnaround at temple is a big part of the reason rhule just signed a billion dollar contract with the panthers. he's going to take care of him if he can, and if someone was willing to give us a draft pick for kyle allen, why not make this move? the guy was probably making $55,000 or something in the xfl and now has an nfl contract. he's just looking out for one of his guys. as long as it doesn't impact what we put on the field, who cares?

This guy was a handful against subpar talent. He possesses NFL talent, there is no doubt. I don’t know if he can match the speed of the game at the NFL level, but if he had time to learn in the right system, he could be deadly. Also, the goal in free agency is to get better, we got better with this signing, period.

You think he'll leap over Grier quickly?

Maybe? I never understood the Grier hype, and feel infinitely better with there being competition for QB2

Best case scenario, either develops well and we can just spend the next 3 drafts filling in the rest of the holes on the roster
