OT beckton. Flagged for drug test at combine

He’s going to be a major bust. Not because he smoked weed, but because of his effort. His strength & conditioning coach tried to toot his horn, but explained that he was like 30 lbs. overweight and out of shape when the new staff came into town. Compile this with the fact that he doesn’t know not to smoke weed a month out for the combine? The kid’s just not mature enough to make it big time.

This will hurt him some, but I still believe he goes somewhere in the top 20....

Similar happened to L. Tunsil a few years back, he was supposed to go top 5 and slid to 13

Tunsil had a video on the internet of him getting high doing bong rips trough a gas mask.

This is good news for teams like us... not sure how far he would fall if at all. I love Becton as a player.. hes an athletic monster with size. All these guys dinging him and calling him trash must not need an offensive tackle.. because this is how bargains are found. Teams afraid  he might never let the drugs go will be scared off and he falls kind of like how gregory fell to the second round for the cowboys.

Hes been a contributor to them ever since. If u got brass balls like tepper and looking to add talent..sign me up.. i would even trade up into the later half of the first.

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
