I don't know if we're actually trading Samuel but...

But I do know that it most likely won't be to the Eagles because they just traded for Marquise Goodwin from the 49'ers. Currently, the Eagles will have DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery , Goodwin and youngsters Reagor, Arcega-Whiteside and Deontay Burnett. I don't see room for Samuels on their roster. Unless things change, we'll trot out Robbie Anderson, Pharoh Cooper,  Keith Kirkwood,  DJ Moore, Curtis Samuel and about 5 others including Seth Roberts.

The Packers could make a lot of sense if Samuel does end up being gone.  GB told Rodgers they'd get him weapons, and instead got his replacement.  If they can spin their "plan" was to get a somewhat proven WR over a rookie maybe Rodgers won't pout all year.

Tom Brady is the only QB that pitches more of a bitchfit when its not goin good.  Rodgers has gotten such a pass for his  douchebaggery.  Its the type of diva nonsense people say about Cam except Aaron really does that poo.  I hate double standards.

As much as I hate Tom Brady, there's no way in hell he could ever match Aaron's pout power.

Why would the heck would we trade a key piece to our new offense. I’m not seeing it we didn’t in the draft we’re NOT depleting our offense this is Joe Brady’s first season I’m pretty sure he’s trying to start out with a bang. Think about a young Kyle Shannon or Sean M young offensive guru. He’s not getting rid of a dynamic playmaker who’s only knock is getting catchable passes. We didn’t even look at the offense in the draft because Brady probably said I can score 28 if you can get a few stops we’ll win. We have a electric playmaker in Samuels, best RB in the league. A true savage dog leader in yac in WR in DJ and a leader in yards per pass in RA. Who gets rid of key pieces with no replacement to start his nfl career. It doesn’t make sense we’ve beefed up our O in free agency. And then addressed our d in the draft. Now with good coaching we can win 10 games based off our opponents maybe less hopefully more but our offense was strong last year I’d expect a much stronger showing with TB. Our d was ass we should be average atleast on defense which plays out to be a pretty good team

Being a douchebag is what cost Rodgers being the #1 overall pick.

We didn’t draft a WR, Samuel isn’t going anywhere. The drop off behind him is huge. If you want 3 WRs on the field, Samuel is it. None of the other WRs is close in talent. Seth Roberts is 29 and hasn’t ever eclipsed 500 yards or 5 TDs. Cooper is a returner and has 243 yards and 1 TD as his best. Kirk wood has 13 career receptions. Every other WR is an UDFA. It’s laughable that people still think in Brady’s offense that we’d trade our only real WR3. Samuel is so much more talented than everyone except Moore and probably on the same level as Anderson. He’s not going anywhere if the staff thinks we can compete. Also, the rest of the WRs is why I think Bayless has a great shot of making the team if he’s decent.

I agree wholeheartedly, but Samuel was rumored to be in trade talks entering the draft.

Now that the draft is over, the front office talk needs to be on re-signing him in advance of 2021 offseason, not trading him. He's only 23 and was sorely underutilized under the RR regime. Brady will use him properly and I can see a lot of motion with confusing defenses w/ Samuel and CMC out of the backfield.

Samuel is about to blow up and we need to not be in another Bradberry situation this coming offseason.

    • I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
    • I said this ALL last season and will say it again this year. Our record means diddly squat this year, I don't care if we have 0 wins or 17 wins, I only care about one thing and one thing only. Bryce proves without a shadow of a doubt that he IS or ISN'T our long term solution at QB. It's the only thing that matters for the same reason it sucks that this is the same thing as last year.  This needs to be determined, and if they can't determine it, then it's still telling the team the answer, just not the one they want to hear. As right now we're in the ultimate QB purgatory, a position that dooms franchises for years.  Just look at a team like the Cardinals, who extended a better QB and it still screwed them over and haven't had a contending team in a long time. People get too caught up on wins and losses when evaluating players, particularly QBs.  When people look at the final record and use that as a reason to want to extend a QB or not is just a fools errand.  If we had lost 2-3 more games last year because we didn't make a last second FG, I genuinely wonder if we would have just moved on from Bryce this offseason (like we should have been doing anyways IMHO).
