Cam is a NE Patriot

The sour grapes from the usual suspects around here because NE went from tank to contender in a 24-hour span is absolutely hilarious. This franchise deserves this type of poo, honestly. So quick to be done with a guy you lot never even liked so we can watch Teddy B and Cmac statpad the next 2-years riding 5-11, 6-10 records.

Exactly.

It's hilarious to watch them try to discredit Cam being a Patriot when they were screaming at the top of their lungs that nobody wanted him.

Honestly with our roster, 6-10 is probably a ceiling.

It will be someone else's fault...  Coaching or receivers....

If Cam can’t beat out Hoyer and some rookie, he should hang it up for good. You lot just can’t accept that he will and inevitably return to form with top 5 defense to boot lol.

When our defense was playing lights out the first 4-5 games last year we made Kyle fuging Allen look like Brady Prime.

At first I felt sooo happy for him.
After thinking about it - we offered him a 2 year deal that was a much better offer than what he got.
He should still be here and should retire a Panther.

Won't be rooting for the Pats but wont be hating on them like I have in the past

I willl be curious to see how many of the Cam Nut Huggers come here and make excuses if he bombs out in N.E. or plays like crap.

They already set it in motion in this thread. "NE doesn't have WRs".

Their tired game is already safe for his entire time in NE.

I can understand people who won't necessarily root for Cam outside of the Panthers. That makes sense for Panthers fans.

But, for the crew outright hoping for another man's failure - a man who took the Panthers to the heights of their success - well, that's just sad.

The crew that is hoping for Cam's failure are in full meltdown mode in this thread. They got their wish when Cam was released unceremoniously by the Panthers. Now, they're pissed that he found another job and are throwing all types of shade. People like that are just miserable.

    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
