Cam Newton calls out Panthers: 'You gonna choose that over this?'

You criticize that comparison and then immediately proceed to make one of the worst analogies I’ve ever seen lol. “Nailing Cam’s wife”? Wtf? How is accepting a contract with a new team as a FA malicious or wrongful in any way towards Cam? Is Cam nailing Giselle now behind Tom’s back in this scenario?

The scenario's are not apples to apples.  Teddy was given the job and a nice new contract.  Cam was kicked to the curb...rejected.  The organization basically said "we think this guy is better."  I don't think its fair to compare the reactions of the two players in that circumstance, because they are coming from two completely different angles.

Understood...but I was talking about your analogy. If I was seeking clarification on his post, then I would’ve quoted him, not you.

Do you consider Bridgewater signing with the Panthers to be on the same level of moral reprehensibility as sleeping with another man’s wife? That’s your idea of an “apples to apple” scenario?

I mean, why would anyone blame him? He seems like a genuinely decent person and Twitter is a sewer of awful people.

Twitter has awful people to be sure, but it has an awful lot of good people as well.

For the record, I believe that people are severely underrating Teddy's potential. I'm a Bridgewater fan. I just wish he would at least take things in stride and NGAF what the haters say to the point where he could open his tweets and block those that he needs to block.

Cam's a different dude, and apparently Teddy is too. They appear to be motivated in different ways. Both approaches can be refreshing...and successful. The difference in their personalities is stark though. I'm still rooting for Cam, and it's somewhat surreal transitioning to being a Teddy fan, but I'm now a Teddy fan. I hope he wins as a Panther, just like he's won everywhere else he's played! If he doesn't, I will criticize him as a player, but will respect the man.
