Cam also took flack for smiling and celebrating personal plays in losses (unfairly imo).

I dont begrudge Tedddy smiling i just want him to get the ball to someone more than 4 yards down field

Oh, I don't either. If I signed a 3 year $60M contract you couldn't beat the smile off my face with a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat.

That’s what we should have been doing this offseason. Setting our franchise up for the next qb as best we can which means setting him up with a talented oline first and foremost.

Looks like they felt like a potentially average OL would be "good enough" while rebuilding the defense. I wouldn't be surprised if minimal was done to address the offense while throwing more at the defense, but I'm trying to withhold pessimism.

Be sure to check out that new 3 6 mafia album, CASHING CHECKS: starring Teddy Bridgewater. In stores soon.

Use this season to develop the little talent that this team has, and lower your expectations. Team will struggle for 1 or 2 wins.

Yeah.... I think that’s the idea. Then we get Trevor Lawrence. So be it.

Mav, no way in hell Cam smiles getting blown out like this going into halftime lol. I know you’re being objective, but come on.

Of course Rhule is optimistic. The first year has always been a tank year for him. People wanted to ignore the process but part of the process is an abysmal first season. I just hope that the rest of the process works after this initial step.

The Process is going according to plan.

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
