The Bills have gotten us twice now with OT's.

We snag Little and made Beane speechless, then they immediately grab Cody.

We snag Amini (from Midwestern State no less) and made thefuzz speechless, they immediately grab Cordy Glenn from Georgia.

We sure do have a GM here who knows Offensive Line huh?

I remember how hard you were pimping that we liked him in the pre draft threads and how much most of us who watched the combine couldn’t stand him. We were so hoping you had bad info. We had a 2nd and two 3rds in a great interior OL draft and came away with nothing. Add in having a 2nd and 3rds in the prior draft and we got Donte.

I mean pre-Rhule, Marty had 6 day 2 picks and all we have to show for it is an average CB. There’s half the talent drain on the team right there. SMH. Why was he kept?

I didn't hate him coming out at all, I knew he had issues, but I figured they would be coached out of him. They haven't and these are things that should be filtered through in interviews with former coaches and with the player himself. It really is a shame we didn't leave with a more dedicated player.

It was obvious in the combine drills. Just watching Risner and Taylor going at it in the mirror drill (announcers loved the effort) and then seeing Little getting chased by an alligator in the straight back/swivel the hips drill really gave you a perspective on the chasm in talent/ability. After watching that combine, I fell in love with Burns and very much disliked Little. I didn’t like your notion that we liked him. Obviously we did and obviously we did a terrible job of actually screening a guy we would have wanted in the first.

Thank goodness Brian was there in the first, otherwise we would have taken him at that spot.

OMG, horrific. Given our track record of day 2 picks, we probably would have taken Grier at 47 to make sure NE didn’t get him and some stiff at  77. So glad to have Burns but Hurney’s 6 day two picks pre-Rhule were about as bad as you can get. Donte would have to morph into Deion Sanders overnight and still we’d be behind on talent loss.
