It’s early, sure. But Brown, Gross-Matos and clearly Chinn have all been decent-solid so far this season. Do we give Hurney credit? Or Rhule and Tepper?

The Seahawks knocked it out of the park drafting early on in Carroll's career. Maybe due to his familiarity with players from the college game either from scouting opponents or from the recruiting trail? Could we be seeing something similar happening here with Rhule? I hope so.

I'll give more credit to Rhule. Coming from college he was already familiar with those guys and he recruited a lot of them as well.

Pride looks like a starting CB as well! It helps when our staff coaches to their strengths. I hated watching Rivera’s play 10 yards off the WR defense. Also Douglas and Anderson have been great signings!

It is waaaaay too early to be throwing around "franchise."

Hard not to be happy about having so many rookies contributing regularly and occasionally playing very well. 

We need those kind of drafts to make this rebuild happen quickly.

If things turn out great, Rhule will get all the praise, if they go South Hurney will get all the blame. 

In reality it should be equally distributed amongst the 2, as I believe they are collaborating on all of these decisions.

Extremely early for this post to show up...especially since this is really the first game we seeing extended looks at YGM. But yes the rest looks promising so far...
