probably the best coached panthers game since the NE sunday night game

undermanned and outgunned at almost every position and they were a field goal away

were a doink from a ten point swing at the end of the first

held the ball for the first half of the game and went to the break with the lead

first onside kick was absolutely the right call and was 30 degrees of rotation from working

final drive wasn't great but a lot of that was Teddy's aversion to passing deep

i mean...that was great

Within a field goal of beating the Super Bowl champs and NFL MVP...

The Panthers have with many holes on both defensive and offense and went toe to toe with probably the best team in the NFL....definitely encouraging as this team continues to build by bringing in their players.

The coaching to me was aggressive but not always smart. Kicking the second inside kick was suspect. We had all our timeouts and had already flubbed one earlier.  Having no timeouts in the first half to challenge was poor clock management as well. So while I thought Rhule out riverboated Ron yesterday the coaching was not great throughout. I like the analytics but you can tell the staff are still learning and developing. They aren't there yet.

The fourth down decision-making is getting so much better. Especially in the red zone. Love that we're not settling for field goals any more when we're in close.

I think "the analytics" are correct when it comes to 4th downs. If you can average x number a yards a play, then why not? Especially against a team like Kansas city--it doesn't matter if they start at their 10 or the 40--they will score.

Other than the piss poor 2 minute drill, our coaches did a helluva job yesterday.

Our team is putting up a fight and seem to really buy in to Rhule.

So far, I completely agree.  I want to see them continue to fight to the end of the season regardless of the record.  That's the tough part.

Imagine how the game would have turned out if we'd have made them punt twice instead of just once.

Imagine how many wins we'd have now if we could just do that one more time each game.

We've got to figure out a way to get the other team off the field rather than a score.
