well they won't be tanking against us so that's good.  besides that, f broken ribs, good god f broken ribs.

Other than a tonsillectomy at 34 years old, easily the most suffering thing I've ever endured.

1. Tonsillectomy

2. Broken ribs (twice)

3. Severe high ankle sprain

Yikes. Can't stand Brees as our rival, but damn I don't wish that on anyone. No wonder he told Payton he couldn't go. The guy was practically dying.

Don't be shocked if Payton fixes Jameis' turnover issues. If he does, that's gonna suck. Talent isn't Winston's issue. Turnovers are.

Yes you are right. So many of the Saints offensive plays are designed sets. Brees, throws to a spot on time and on target. That is why his height has never been an issue, Brees could hit a fly 30 yards downfield. Jameis hitting those timed spots on target and on time, yikes. I mean even Michael Thomas looked bad yesterday, and I believe it will take more than 1 to 3 weeks to get that timing down. Jameis' problem has always been decision making, so the jury is out on how this will go, it could be fun to watch.

I could barely get a glass out of the cabinet for a month+ after cracked ribs.  I can't imagine throwing NFL gameday passes in three weeks.  He will drugged to the max.

i bet its complete bs and he is out 6 weeks.

16 of Winston’s 30 interceptions came 10 or more yards downfield.

Winston’s biggest weakness is his decision making especially once the play breaks down.

Payton’s system being heavy on short throws and quick throws really combats Winston’s weaknesses.

If Winston finds a way to screw this up he’s way beyond repair.

With timing routes, you have to throw the ball well before someone is open. Hence the throw to a spot offense. Can Jameis throw to a spot where a defender is occupying, before the receiver is open? If I were anyone playing the Saints I would keep the Mike or Will on Kamara and use the free safety to double anything on the edge. Make the Saints beat me with someone other than Kamara, and force Jameis to make those throws.

This injury makes no difference in not tanking versus us. GB has two losses, beat NO and has a fairly easy schedule. Tampa and 3 NFC West teams have only one less loss. It would have had to fall perfectly for them to have the top seed and no reason to beat us. This makes it even less likely but we will likely be playing a team trying to win in week 17. It’s the next 5 games I’m more worried about.

Winston also couldn’t see well. He got LASIK in April.
