pj walker showed hes not much more than an xfl star and this is not the jerry kids of the xfl , the man has played like an undrafted free agent in his short amount of plays , hes not worthy of the number 2 qb .

we must start will grier had a strong camp after a terrible showing last season , we need to see if will grier is a bust or he improved before we cut him. had high hopes for this team but let down once again . we have nothing to lose why not with a banged up teddy play grier to see if he has it in him , just so we know to keep or cut him next season .

Grier got beat out by that xfl star. Which means Grier sucks

I’m told by informed huddler Carl Spackler that despite post training camp depth chart the only reason Pj is #2 is because we don’t have cmc and we need to use him as a hb as well but make no mistake Grier is our solidified secret #2 and is better than Pj

Lol

He didn’t beat out a 3rd round pick. Rhule makes him the backup QB without CMC so he can also serve as an emergency RB. The man said this in his media avail more than two weeks ago.

You’re welcome to be stupid, but you can’t also be right.

Grier is trash ..

Good thing Huddle is not GM ..

Draft Grier, they said, Grier trash ..

Re-sign CMC, they said, CMC trash ..

Move on from Cam, they said, Cam New England's starting QB

Grier wasn’t a popular pick, team had holes in several places but QB wasn’t one of them.  I said at the time that the pick doesn’t make sense.

I think if you actually prep them for a game and they go through a week as the starter....PJ will be much better than Grier.   I don't want to see Grier.  Doesn't seem like Rhule does either given Walker leaped the investment.

Based on what? His XFL tape?

literally the only you can go on to compare the two is college career. And Grier had a much better one against much better competition

I’ve seen Grier prep and start NFL games

Rhule and company clearly has deemed PJ a better option based on depth chart.  So based on NFL practice.  Present day.

so yeah, why wouldn’t anyone want to see Will Grier start over PJ with that?

How'd Curtis Samuel look last season?

I don't know if Grier will be better this year, but I do know what I've seen from PJ Walker so far makes me think if he didn't have a Matt Rhule connection, he wouldn't be on an NFL squad.

The question will be moot if Bridgewater practices, but I'd rather see Grier if he doesn't.

    • Been here since middle school right when it started around 2003 after the charlotte.com one. Living outside of Carolina it was tough to find good Panthers content, news or analysis. And no one to talk to about it. This place gave me a lot though I don’t often post. In the later days, I particularly Loved PhillyB’s write ups. They were fire. Too bad I go let it go. I appreciate the hell out of @MHS831 @TheSpecialJuan @Jackie Lee and others who have been posting great content and keeping this place worth coming back to. Particularly during the offseason. Appreciate y’all!
    • Nice explanation, but I was just messing with you. Thought that would be obvious. I dont have the energy to keep on trolling. Last season I compared our situation with Bryce as a potential Alex Smith, but what we should be looking for is our version of Mahomes. Some people will read that as one sentence, to me that single sentence is equivalent to a half A4 explanationf of the teams pathway forward.
    • I dont know how much of his salary would come across and how much a trade would cost but I feel Kmet would be the sort of TE Canales and Morgan would like
