Cousins is a sneaky little bastard. Tough to sack.

Pride Jr. is quietly having a very nice game.

His progression since early this season has been good. First few weeks he wasn't even turning his head much less his body. These past two he's been positioned perfectly to the ball and getting leverage over the WR.

Ya why was 24 playing zone on that one.

I'm not entirely sure what they were running there - but I don't think Jefferson was Elder's man. At least not pre-snap. Think their motion caused a coverage bust - and Elder just ran with Jefferson 'cos that's what football players do.

That was not PI. He was looking at the ball and the WR almost fell down with the DB barely touching him

In the NFL this day it was PI and probably holding. I'm not complaining because the Vikings line has held on every play.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
