Bridgewater "running out of time"

Mr. Scot

Recommended Posts

Running out of time? Good lord he's awful and it's clear... This guy has ZERO competitive will to win, none whatsoever. I've seen all I need to see from Teddy Scrubwater, this guy wants money NOT wins. He cares less about being the best at his craft, and having a real passion for winning... it's clear.

Teddy has gotten the ball for a final drive trailing by less than a touchdown in seven games this year. The Panthers have won zero.

For his entire career, Teddy Bridgewater has led less game winning drives than Mitchell Trubisky.

At some point, you are who you are.

I don't understand how the last 3 games are going to show us something different from Bridgewater that he hasn't already shown throughout his career. He is who he is. Three games isn't going to change that. If it does and Rhule falls for it and it costs us a chance at getting a real QB, then he is a fool and shouldn't be our head coach.

This was obvious to anyone that has seen him play before the season even started. Its clear that our coaches and front office don't know what the f*ck they are doing.

Wouldn't deny that.

Just saying this particular issue isn't on him.

I disagree.  I had 3 options to throw to and he chose wrong.   He had a chance to let the clock stop at the 2 minute warning and chose to run a play.  Teddy owns this.

80% Teddy, 20% Rhule, and that might be generous! A veteran QB---a winner---has to have a command of situational football!

This season is about the record I expected.   At times, the team was better than I thought we'd be, other times I expected more out of the offense (but granted, no CMC).    Teddy has been what I expected, he's totally average, but he's overpaid sadly and too many years.    He's not the answer to get over the hump in what the NFL is today.    We really really should be letting PJ and Grier get in some to see what they have but now we have three games against decent teams so it's not fair, they should have been in there earlier.

I'm kind of worried about Rhule and some Rivera-ish decisions like this but hopefully he's just keeping things on the downlow.

Bridgewater certainly made his fair share of mistakes in the game, but it honestly doesn't sound like the two minute thing was his fault.

You gotta communicate these things, and it appears our coaches didn't do that.

Joe six pack sitting on the sofa knew that letting the clock hit the two minute warning was the correct thing to do. It gives the team and coaches a chance to gather themselves and come up with a great play on third down. Instead, we come out of the two minute warning facing 4th and 8. The lack of football IQ and command of the offense by Teddy is stunning.

That is what I was thinking---you have a speaker in the QBs helmet.  How hard is that?
