I believe that Rhule will address our shortcomings through Free Agency and the Draft. I don't expect to see a trade for a big name player, by the way of giving up Draft picks. I believe our goal is to build through the draft,  elevating our draft through Free Agency...

It's Marty's MO, always signing the wrong players.  He has no idea how to build a complete team.  He cannot build depth on the team to save his life.

Exactly...draft players like Norwell, Norman, Star, Bradberry he’ll even Turner was traded...continue to patch with dude FA like defense DB LB....Matt Kalil/Oher/Okung (lol)...Anderson our best WR was a FA...

I’m not saying those players would’ve worked (though it’s weird we chose to pay R kalils farewell, shaq, Olsen and Kk to sit on the bench instead) and Turner’s contract would’ve hurt, nor am I mad at Anderson coming in from FA.

But this whole bios through the draft mantra the Panthers think they’re had like the Steelers or Patriots I mean, let’s be real so far they haven’t been capable to do it.

Hell even Chinn might not be resigned, nor Motong or Moore or Samuel...it’s a damn shame.

Hopefully Rhule is a good enough talent evaluator to build through the draft. Honestly he's probably really good at it because recruiting in college is much harder than eyeing talent when you're the small school.

Add to that it was not like we had the heir apparent for these pacing the sidelines waiting for their chance.  In many cases, there not only was no heir apparent, there was no clue who was going to play the position when they walked.  Hurney apparently thinks that a depth chart goes one layer deep.

Snow has this defense ranked #20. That ain't great, but it's 12 spots higher than anyone on this board expected. Better than last year and we had Kuechly and Bradbury.

Rhule had this team ready to play each(minus 1.5 games) in a crazy convid year with one of least talented rosters. Two virgin playcallers and bunch of Baylor/Temple staff. Im beyond shocked at his early success, I look forward to 2022 season.
