Regarding draft scenarios

Just looked at Tankathon and man do we we need to keep losing. Between 4-9 teams, Philly and the 5-9 teams, there are 7 teams that would slip by us if we won and they didn’t. Awesome to be at 4, but beating Washington could literally drop us out of the top 10. Marty and Matt, please make sure you pay attention to that. Don’t out Jet the Jets.

There is a chance the Ain'ts will be locked in to a seed by the time we play them.  If so, that would be a winnable game.  I don't think the Redskins is a winnable game though.  Rivera and his team will be super motivated, and their defense is good.  And we have played to the level of the competition this year.  We might not break double digits against them.  We lose 17-9 imo.

I think we beat Ron. Our skill players are gonna go off. This is the one game I think having teddy pays off. Ron ain't never figured out how to stop the short quick pass. We always got picked apart by it. And that occasional bomb.

If we can keep that Dline out of the backfield we will win this one. Haskins is bad. Really bad, I could see Chinn having a TD. We can stop they're run and dump game. Can they stop ours.

In all likelihood we lose though lol.

Quickly looking at the draft order and SOS...if we win one game, and ALL SIX (5-win) AND ALL THREE (4-win) teams lose, we would get pick 11. If we win 2 games and the six (5-win) and the 2 (6-win) teams ALL lose, we would have pick 15.

This scenario is unlikely, given Dallas still plays NYG and Philadelphia, so those records are going to fluctuate. Would hate to see another moral victory kick us out of the 4th position. The Packers/Titans game is going to be the game to watch next Sunday night. Need a Packers loss to guarantee a real matchup with the Saints. The Redskins will be playing to keep their Playoff spot.

I'd ask somebody who follows these scenarios more closely than i do if there's a sense of just how far we could fall if we were to win our remaining games.

I didn't take all the tie-breaker scenarios into this, BUT 6-10 could possibly move us all the way to # 16. That would make guys like Trask and Jones a lot more appealing.

Man there are a lot of bad teams this season.

It’s a damn fine question. If I was running the Jets (lol) I would build the line around Darnold if I fell to pick 2. If I had 1, obvi draft Trev and ship Darnold off for draft capital, but at 2 it’s such an interesting dilemma for em.

Throw Gase out the building a la Jazzy Jeff, draft Sewell to bookend the line with Bec. Keep Darnold who will blossom under protection and with an actual offense guru HC. Get more weapons in rounds 2-4 for Darnold to actually throw to.

poo just got crazy interesting.

LOL
