Both NO and Carolina are very different teams than they were in Week 7, and unfortunately the Saints D is much improved while Carolina's I is worse l.

Our defense is playing better now than it was when we played the Saints the first time.  Significantly better actually.  When we played the Saints the last time, we were in the middle of a stretch where we forced two punts in three games.  Not that they are great, but definitely better than they were against the Aints.

Right, but it doesn't matter if the offense puts up zero points. Not outside the realm of possibility.

Don't you idiots know that Sean Payton would much rather stick it to the Panthers than compete for a top 2 seed in the playoffs? That genius is playing 8d chess while you all are going on about "Saints can still get a 1st round bye!" Well duh, Sean Payton knows that already and guess what? He doesn't give a damn. He pretty much lives for one reason and that's to inflict pain on the Panthers. He would trade 5 super bowls for the chance to make us drop 3 spots in our draft order. Remember when he traded away future draft picks to take that TE project we planned to sign as an undrafted free agent and proceeded to cut him anyway? And we ended up signing him after all. I mean he lost draft picks, the potential to sign a better player and whatever signing bonus he gave him, but it was all worth it to make the Panthers mildly annoyed for like 10 minutes. The man is ruthless. Never underestimate him.

The way we are playing, we could actually beat them at full strength.

If we can beat the Saints at full strength we shouldn’t be worrying about draft positioning. We would be ready to compete as is. However, the Saints will easily beat us.

We beat Ron's Football Team that was playing backup QBs and now we think we can beat the Saints at full strength? LOLOLOL!!!

I mean, we did come close against the Chiefs and the Packers.  And every other team we played this year, including the Saints.

FYI The Saints can still get the 1st round bye even with a Packers win tonight (which still isn't guaranteed). If Packers, Seahawks and Saints all finish 12-4 the Saints would get the 1st round bye. They're going to play their starters against us.

I may be wrong but GB beat NO earlier in the season so they have the head to head.  I think they have locked up HFA.  But I do believe they are not coming into this game to lose.

We've seen where teams have done that and come out flat in the playoffs.  Brees is still shaking off the rust and will want to play next week.

I guess we'll find out in 6 days.
