Was 2017 our Best Draft Ever?

The key here is to string a few good drafts together--so 2017, 2020 (I think in 3 years, we will say it is was a great draft), and then if we can get a good one in 2021, I think you can go ahead and purchase playoff tickets for a few years.

With Marty, every draft featured a reach. Hall was the reach that year--we needed a DE and he was left. Playing opposite Garrett, he was given more opportunities and faced lesser blocking.  Greg Little was the same way--we took what was left over, and he sucked.

The combine isn't a crystal ball but it didn't lie this time (so far). That should have been a red flag. Seriously needs a meanstreak and some technique work, or just the latter atleast.

Pick probably should have been Dawkins.

Whose Dawkins and who should he have been picked instead of?
