Watson not the only big name vet at QB that we're looking at?

The number #1 priority for Tepper and Rhule this offseason is getting a QB. Whether that is trading up for Zach Wilson or trading for Watson/Stafford/Whoever, it will happen.

I can't imagine they would let Stafford walk for anything less than #8 tbh

I think Tepper is doing a bit of work to drive prices up in the market with no intention of going there. Some times a fellow can sit in an auction and be a troll, just politely upping the price to keep the pot boiling. 

What if the Jags and Jets decided to instead grab Watson and Stafford?

There's a lot of spin out there and I think Tepper isn't playing chess, but poker instead.

I would look to do a play for player/players trade before I would offer picks.

You have to wonder if Teddy running his mouth about the coaches factored into the decision of not only looking at rookie QBs but other vet QBs as well.

I really like Stafford, but at 33 years old I don't think he fits super well with the makeup of this team going forward.

He isn't being moved.  With last season's play and his injury history the Iggles won't get a return on him that they think they should.

It certainly didn't help I would assume.  But his play relative to his salary had more to do with it than anything would be my bet.

Don't love getting Stafford. Never really saw him as a great QB. Better arm than Bridgewater and played well when he had Calvin Johnson but not much after that.

It's Watson or rookie QB for me.

Lions main focus is getting Stafford's contract off their hands.  I'd take the trade if it was Teddy B + a 3rd round pick.

Stafford with DJ Moore and Robby Anderson would be DUMB fun to watch
