Heard of crippling loss. Crippling win???

For some franchises that one loss could be remembered for decades, ask Atlanta fans of their SB loss.

Will the win against WSH will haunt us for next 2-3 seasons without a franchise QB?

Without paying hefty price we can't move up in draft / trade for D Watson / M Stafford.

Every day goes by, that one win is proving expensive

Yes, it sucks that we won that game, however we could have trotted out Jimmy Clausen and still won.  Washington / Haskins were straight up awful.

Nah, Rhule should have trotted PJ out there to "evaluate for the future".  It would have been an easy sale and PJ would have stunk it up.

I'm going to start complaining about the loss to the Chargers in week 3. If only the defense hadn't gotten so many takeaways in that game we could have easily lost and still had the #3 pick. I hope Burns is happy with that strip-sack, it set the franchise back a dozen years.

These aren't really comparable as we had no idea who good/bad we were in week 3. At Washington we very much knew that we were in contention for a top 3 pick.

That is true. But they are exactly equivalent in how much good it does to bring either up in every single thread.

This thread has been posted at least 30 times already. What could we have possibly done to out suck Washington? They had Haskins who couldn’t have played worse, and special teams performed horribly for them that game. We would have had to sit the entire team and that wasn’t possible. Quit crying about everything, it is what it is at this point, we are going to be fine. Almost every loss was by a score so we could have won any of those games and no one would have blinked an eye.

    • 5 straight completions in the 4th quarter to get into the red zone and then score a stand up rushing TD and celly in one of the best defenses faces to bring the score within 1 possession against the super bowl champs is "stunned" to you?
    • yes, if you read what I said - that was due to his record breaking 245 yard 4th quarter performance in garbage time when the Seahawks were already celebrating. If Bryce puts up big numbers in the 4th quarter, people like you are quick to call it garbage time stats but seem to get selective when other QB's do it because it doesn't fit your narrative.  also, I'm logical enough to admit that Drake is a great QB and his performance had a lot to do with his protection, play calling, and other aspects. The game does not fall completely on the QB. Just like how the Panthers were still in the game vs Seattle until Horn's penalty changed that. It is a team sport, so many factors, players, refs, coaches are involved and it only takes one thing to change the game. the obsession with Bryce is just nauseating at this point and if you pay attention on here, it's the same 10 users quoting and pieing each other. it's super weird and everywhere else you go, opinions on Bryce are trending upwards. the way the season ended, the vibe at the stadium, the performance, should have everyone excited about this next season. Idk, maybe I just look at life and my entertainment outlets differently than others.
