The thing here is that SF would have zero incentive to do this. They can cut JG with no cap hit - why offload him for such a crappy contract?

That said it would be a coup for the Panthers. Jimmy is zero upgrade from Teddy but will get hurt anyway, so this would basically be a contract swap that greatly benefits Carolina.

That means we will be the most attractive NFC team to land Deshaun! Would be huge for us. 

This guy is Dan Sileo, he played beside the fuging legend Jerome Brown at the U. Now he’s fuging nuts, but might have some connections. Best team to lose a Natty for sure 86 Canes.

Unless Shanahan likes Teddy. Honestly with that defense/offensive line/head coach he might be solid for them. He still will miss the deep balls like Jimmy G did...

      Yup. Hopefully  Brandon adds some muscle this off-season but he'll probably be resting his shoulder for a while so I doubt it. Miles should probably be replaced but I don't think we find a better 4th option to be honest. So is it better to add depth along side williams and Coby or try to upgrade the 4/5 . I think adding depth will probably be more beneficial than trying to upgrade starters and bank on Brandon and Kons continuing development. I really don't think they are going to make the playoffs unfortunately. I think the big hole they put themselves in has exhausted them. They've been amazing since January 1 but I think it's come at a cost and their legs are gone.

      The issue is the predictability of it all in a Bryce Young led offense. In 4th down attempts the Jets were at 41 and we were at 40. And we were 4th in conversation %. We were 25th in the league in 3rd down conversion because we faced so many 3rd and longs in part due to playcalling on 1st and 2nd down but more largely due to the limitations that cannot be overcome.  And people want us to spend another 1st rounder on WR as if it is going to magically give Bryce physical talent he will never possess. It's a shame we cut off our own nose just to put ourselves in this frustrating predicament.
