Wilson said the question of whether he’s available in a trade is for the Seahawks to answer and teams have reportedly been asking. Michael Silver of NFL Media reports that one-third of the league has called the team about the possibility of a Wilson trade.

Silver adds that those teams have come away with the belief that the starting point for any serious conversations would be three first-round picks.

If you could keep your current starters and not part with picks 2-7 for the next three seasons, is that a deasl worth considering?

I want to do it, but my only hesitance is the his age 32. Then again, Stafford is older and we almost pulled that trigger.

Yeah but that was only a single 1st round pick that we would've given up AND Teddy.  No way to giving up 3 1st's.

Much better QB. Also, we wouldnt have to send over any of our young talent, as well as keep our open cap to bring in some serious talent to surround Wilson with.

No. I want someone who can play the next decade for us for that kind of capital. Watson or Mahomes, maybe Allen. I’d rather trade next year’s first and draft Fields.

True, but that offer is just a starting point, they'll definitely want more than just that.

No thanks.  Wilson is great, but his age really is the downfall here.  Especially a guy who’s game relies so much on his mobility.  If we were in QB purgatory 5 years ago then I’d pull the trigger.

I can't do that for a 32 year old. Sure, some QBs play very well into their late 30s and a rare few play well into their early 40s, but eh...

I have no doubt he will play into his 40’s as he stated. I would absolutely do it, but part of that is so that we can finally stop the franchise QB rumor threads on the huddle, so my opinion is flawed.
