NBC's Peter King wont be suprised if Mac Jones goes ahead of Lance

I hope so. Well, let me clarify that statement - I hope someone other than the Panthers takes Jones over Lance.

Jones and Lance imo are both significantly flawed and for that reason neither will go top 10. These rumors imo are being floated to increase trade value for those picks.

I'd be a little surprised but not shocked. Neither should or would be a first rounder in  typical year.

Tin foil alert. Hyping qbs might be in many teams best interests in order to push other prospects down the draft

I like how everyone here who has watched a few YouTube highlights thinks they know better than people that actually get paid for this kind of thing.

Given last years drafting success I have total trust in this teams ability to get the right guy. (despite what we think)

I would love it if LT Sewell fell to #8. Extend Moton and we are set for 4+ years at tackle.

Yep, if Jones is the pick then I will certainly scratch my head but be fully on board and excited to see him

He is not saying that Mac Jones will be a top ten pick. Just that Lance may not be, and Jones may sneak ahead of him.

In reality Lance isn't you typical top ten QB prospect, he is really a mid to late first round QB prospect in most years.  He is being pushed up because there are many QB needy teams.  Guys like Lance go to teams with established QBs so he can sit for a few years and learn the system.  Top ten QBs are typically considered day 1 starters, Lance starting Day 1 would be a disaster.  Mac Jones is typically an early day 2 QB, he is not boom or bust.  He will either be a good QB day 1 or an eternal Backup.

People who work in a NFL organization sometimes. Easterby and Hurney are 2 easy targets proving we can in fact criticize professionals. The flip side is impressive but man some of the NFL owners have hired some idiots over the years, or just put OK people in really bad spots.

As far as Peter King or any media people? Hell yeah we can. Two words, David Newton. Getting paid for it doesn't make that person an expert, just employed.

I'm still hoping Rhule and Co can be to team building what they are to team coaching. Fingers crossed.

Another example of systematic racism our black qbs face , no way mac jones should go higher than tre lance just because of his skin tone , this is insane ! . Racism at its finest . If we pick Wilson or Mac jones I’m no longer a fan
