Panthers reach rock bottom scenario: roll with Teddy for another year or draft Mac Jones at 8?

We should do both. Roll with Teddy and draft Mac Jones. Cut Teddy after this season and then get a vet or another draft pick for Teddy next year. Then we have our starter and backup and are ready to roll.

Law of Averages says we won't hit rock bottom and will draft in the teens, even if we go with Teddy. We were 0-8 in games decided by one score or less. That is abysmal and rarely repeated in the NFL.

You take a QB now.

But I don't touch Lance with a 10 foot poll in the Top 15.

imo either get our franchise QB this year, or just play teddy.

What do you think Teddy gives you? We would be in the exact same situation next year, 5 or 6 wins and still looking from the outside in.  No thanks, I'll take my chances on greatly improving or bottoming out and have my choice of the QB's in the next draft thank you very much.

Not always. Some games in some years you can't give tickets away, that's that's fact.
