Everything the Texans have been doing over the past year or two has been insanity. This would be par for the course.

While I grant that McNair is an idiot, the Texans being behind this really just isn't very credible.

I've also seen a couple of people suggest that Tepper did it to drive his trade price down. That's just lunacy.

Setting aside the conspiracy theories though, this is an extremely sad and difficult story.

Is the lawyer at the center of this a douchebag? Probably. It's more about the women than him though. If they're credible, this is pretty bad for Watson. And if more come forward, it only gets worse.

Like I said before, this isn't really about football anymore. It's about the real lives of Watson and the women involved.

Why would they ever cut him?

If they see him as a sexual predator who is assaulting women he should be cut. I would imagine this kind of thing can make part of his contract voidable. From a PR stand point cutting him (if found guilty) is the right thing to do.

the allegations all seem B.S., especially, all brought by the same Plaintiff's attorney. What are the odds they all contacted his attorney. Now it is a mission for this attorney to make a killing off this. The attorney is likely recovering 40% of any settlement. The more women the more he has to gain.

I see it too much in my line of work. Rape allegations coming out a year later??

Flying someone from Atlanta to Houston to give him a message?

Forced oral sex doesn't qualify as assault?

I don’t think it’s right of anyone to say one person is right or wrong. Have u ever of heard of people lying? I think anybody saying someone is at fault at this point is dumb as hell. We have no idea what happened and that’s it. The truth will come out, trying to say anything right now is truth is ridiculous. I can’t believe a lot of people on hear just throw someone under the bus that doesn’t know anything.

Court judges do just that, and they kinda have to.

Whether it's true or not isn't the point though. This was in response to someone saying that none of the allegations qualify as assault.

Forced oral sex would definitely be considered assault.

If he was guilty he would have taken the 100 grand settlement. That's chump change.

I'm not buying it until they present the receipts.

Chump change would have been hiring an actual escort.

I’m not saying this is true but nobody knows and will likely ever know. But there’s too many accusations just to brush it off

I have a hard time believing that if Watson said he wanted to retire a Texan, this would've still happened.

Very possible, but it also doesn’t mean the allegations aren’t true.

Maybe Cal/Texans heard about some of this stuff going on and decided to do their own investigation.

Once they found some dirt, they handed it over to Buzzbee when the time was right.

Anything is possible right now.

None of us know this it is she said/ he said at this point.  We know nothing and people trying to say on person is right or wrong at this point need to let it play out.

Again, not about that.

The discussion was about a single question: Does forced oral sex qualify as sexual assault? The answer to that is yes.

Whether or not Watson is guilty of it is a whole separate discussion.

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
