Good contract, poor scheme fit. I definitely don't hate it.

Rhule and Snow know his abilities better than anyone.

Reddick obviously wasn’t getting the offers he was seeking and will be looking to prove that last year wasn’t a fluke. No better way to do that than with the two guys who helped mold him into a 1st rounder from being a walk on DB

I’m curious if anyone has any insights on how they used him in college? Obviously the cardinals didn’t utilize him right the first few years.

Had him come off the edge. Which is what the Cardinals finally had him do this year which led to his breakout year

18. Haason Reddick, Edge/LB, Arizona Cardinals (27)

He had a big second half of the season and finished with 12.5 sacks, which was tied for fourth league-wide. Reddick’s role in Arizona has changed about 400 times in four seasons, but he has shown pass-rushing chops. He’s a hybrid-type player who could be really fun with the right defensive coordinator.

He played this same scheme under the same DC and HC in college and thrived.

think he is going to be good.

I was about to ask him what scheme?  Do we actually have one preferred scheme or just base it on whatever players they happen to have on the roster at the moment?

    • OK, fair enough--however, since my point was that drafting a QB in the top 10 is stupid, if you consider the players who were not drafted in the top 10 or those who WERE drafted in the top 10 and did not secure starting positions with the team that drafted them, you should see the point.  Is it smart to draft a QB in the top 10 when only 4 are still starting for the team that drafted them.  Next, consider that half of that number, 2, were drafted outside the first round.  Next, there are 4 (Goff, Mayfield, Jones, and Darnold) who are starting on other teams after busting.   That number could increase as Arizona seems ready to move on from Murray, Miami is not sold on Tua, and jacksonville is still waiting for Trevor to start looking elite.  Bryce?   So to answer your question, there are MANY more QBs in the NFL who have busted and become starters on other rosters, were drafted after day 1, or are still on the cusp than the four who have become elite.  I thought that point was made.
    • I’m more upset that we are changing uniforms in the middle of this road win streak. We have won our last 3 road games in Silver Helmets, White Jerseys, and Blue Pants. We are supposedly wearing Black Helmets, White Jerseys, Black Pants this week… I am a superstitious person
    • He did so well they are moving him to RB, Legette to QB, and Moton to TE…. Interesting. Coker might struggle at LT https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-release-depth-chart-ahead-of-week-12-for-the-2025-season
