PJ started a game.  Only 1 start.  Made some real plays...and we actually won.

Walker did more with his starting opportunity than Grier.

Yes, a fourth-year pro made two really good deep throws and leaned on his defense and RB to win a game. Then, he was found out and regressed to unplayable. Spin it however you like, it's still fact.

PJ has more upside and if he doesn’t pan out we’ll be sitting pretty in next year’s draft.

Teddy can’t do any worse than last season if Christian’s healthy so if he’s the starter again you can forget a top 10 pick.

As the best path to getting Sam Howell? Sure.

There is incredible wisdom here, if the 'sky is falling' Chicken Littles will take a Xanax and calm down.  Trade or cut Teddy.  Start either PJ or Grier and take your lumps for one year, then be well positioned to take Howell or Rattler next year.  Stay at 8 this year and draft the best LT or cover corner available if none of the 'fab four' QB's are available.

I was about to say that too many people are panicking but... it is the Huddle.

Resume check:

2 years behind Luck

1 year dominating XFL

1 year behind Teddy....

Found out??? When???

Teddy started the game after bc it was Minn.

He started once, won once. Perfect record believe it or not.

Once again, down by multiple scores, last game of a losing season, thrown in bc the team clearly gave up on Teddy but Rhule wants a winning culture so PJ goes out there, started making plays but once again the team gave up by then, I watch it all from the stands as people left early, it started to drizzle. I watch him in the huddle at first saw his own players looking up and around (think Rhule picked up on that) Afterwards I saw them huddle closer but the kid showed a willingness not to just give up.

Fyi he better than Z.Wilson

he was prepared to start one game NFL game and did fairly well.  He was part of a shutout victory.

he only saw the field one time after that.  2nd half of the last game of the season down double digits.  He isn’t Teddy.  Go check out a young Cam down late in the 2nd half....aggressive QBs try to win.  It often goes bad at that point.

Walker is unlikely the answer but some of his attributes definitely are. If we want to actually step out of the cellar of the NFC South we need a quarterback with the means and willingness to take a few risks and rifle some passes in tight windows and obviously stretch the field when the time comes. Newton made a living off this and thrived when he was consistent. Things went off the rails when he started to physically deteriorate. Anyway if you are serious about competing again and not being a doormat for the Bucs Saints and Falcons on their way to the playoffs we aren't in a position to turn away possible options. We're kind of desperate. Leave no stone unturned.

As far as Grier goes it is disappointing and I like him on a personal level but current outlook says he's yet another mid to late round whiff at quarterback the Panthers have become known for over the years added to the list of names such as Brett Basanez and Stefon Lefors. You have to accept it and move forward.

The tank crowd is already starting. SMH.

If we don’t add a veteran through FA or draft a starter, there’s plenty of reason to think that TB is starting this year.

It would be the strongest option available unless something drastic happens between now and then. He did well last year, we had a fighting chance in almost every game we lost. A missed throw here and missed throw there gone the other way and we could have had an easy 3-4 more wins. he’s not terrible, he just wasn’t clutch.

I don’t think we’ve seen the best of him. Could we get a better QB? Absolutely, but is one going to be available without trading the entire future?

    • I find it funny those who continue to hate on Bryce based on his rookie year when he had zero weapons or offensive line have a problem with those of us projecting his career from the 8-9 games where he played like a top 10 QB and made more big time throws during that period than any other QB.  The stats may bot have been there in terms of yards or TD passes but that’s coming as the roster improves. For those who think physical traits can overcome roster deficiencies we all witnessed how Mahomes looked under pressure that Bryce faced for most of his rookie year, we saw what happened with Stroud in similar circumstances.  None of us were creating posts proclaiming Bryce as the next Brady but we can’t just sit idly while thread after thread is created continuing with the  anti Bryce tropes  instead of supporting him and just letting him continue to develop.
    • To me Bryce's ceiling is his backup, Andy Dalton, in his prime.  Sure, he may get us some winning seasons and may even get us to the playoffs on occasion, but with an early exit.  To me he doesn't have what it takes to be elite and it takes an elite QB to consistently get deep into the playoffs.  He's not Jackson, he's not Mahomes and he's not even Allen.  In an organization like Philly, he possibly could have what it takes to make a deep run, but let's face it...Philly is well oiled machine and and we are a GMC Grimlin.
    • If he was he would still be in the league.... Cam never learned to play QB without relying on his athletism and rocket arm.
