I don't like the added 4th. 

BUT given how inflated the QB market has shown to be right now, it's not a bad price to kick the Sam Darnold tires.   It's not fun, sexy and exciting.  But that probably is the smartest move right now.   You could still draft Fields if he fell.  But now you don't have to be 49ers level stupid.

This dude can't play a lick, I don't care that it was the Jets, he SUCKED.  We have two bad options at QB, so unless our strategy is to build another 2000 Baltimore or 2013 Seattle level defense, at least we'll be drafting high for the foreseeable future

If the 2nd rounder for 2022 was removed from the deal I'd be okay with it but that's looking like a relatively high 2nd rounder with Darnold at the helm.

Tannehill got out from under Gase and has gone to the playoffs twice while playing at a near Pro Bowl level.

I'll take the bet that the Panthers are not only better with Darnold than Teddy but that Darnold under Brady during a normal off-season will blossom.
