Rhule "a fan" of Darnold

Cool anecdote, but is it just me, or does this speak to just how dysfunctional the Jets are that they were having a guy conduct meetings in what sounds like some sort of official capacity in case he got the job, when he actually didn't have the job?

I am on the cleaning house train. I wanted Rhule to be the one but it looks like his only positives come on the D side. I can't wait until this is all a bad nightmare of years past. Our HC is not very good and has no future in the NFL. RIP Rhule, what could have been.

God damn I'm so fuging glad the scapegoat Hurney aint around this year.

No more of the forum beating the blind deaf kid to death because the crops aren't growing.

Tepper and Rhule have made their bed, and they're going to fuging lie in it.

Atrocious moves.

Fug Hurney and our blind HC. That last was known and later is now known. Fug them all.

    • I think it was Fitterer.  He thought Bryce would be our Russell Wilson and him and Tepper sold each other on it.  The coaches were overruled.
    • I'm torn. It was great for the kids that got the crumbs that fell through the cracks but I also hate the NCAA and how they have wielded their power for decades.  Most of those schools' finances baffle me anyways. They just seem like they are poorly set up to do this across the board. The NIL angle looked like a clown show to me but I also don't tune into anything at that level until it's directly draft related.
    • Watching the Bears over hype him after historically bad QB play on that team has been fun, well that and crap coaching. It's like they learned nothing from last year even if the players are polar opposites. I don't see a Cam in him, he looks like what I feared Cam was coming out early in his draft process where Cam made me feel better as it went along and Williams made be doubt more. I still don't see how he ends up the best QB in his class.  The funniest thing is that they could walk from him next year and just waste a bonus pick while still picking in the top 5 again.
