Teddy only had 2 2nd-half TD passes in 2020, none after Wk 4

There's no need to lie about Teddy's game. He had five td passes in November, and one after he got hurt. That makes six in the last seven games.

The stat has nothing to do with the weekly schedule.

Misunderstood the title. You didn't lie. He had 3 first quarter td passes and 10 in the 2nd qtr. Got no argument with that because he's better, and will do better in his next go around.

Do you know the definition of insanity? Also it won’t be with us and he’ll never start for another team unless they are incredibly desperate. Can’t wait till he is off the team so people like you will FINALLY leave and go bother some other poor fanbase. God help them.

Yeah I kind of remember being baffled by some of the play calling in the 4th quarter specifically. Obviously this has been a Teddy problem since his time with the Vikings but it’s definitely something to watch with Brady.

Teddy's problem is bigger than throwing touchdowns in the 4th quarter.  Teddy's problem is throwing touchdowns, period.

Doesn't matter how he gets on the field again. Once he does, he's going to be better. It may not be enough for the Panthers, but he'll help somebody. The problem is that Sam is going to make Teddy look good and that's why you don't want him here while Donald does what he's been doing for the past three years. Using Teddy as a scapegoat for a rookie coaching staff is not going to get the Panthers anywhere.

Teddy does look decent in the first half, then collapse in 4 th quarter- some passes are actually behind line of scrimmage.  New Orleans team was stacked and carried him, they should give us a 4th rounder this year and try again with their roster much weaker.

What is Sam? They both have the same starting experience.

4 years younger with higher upside. In two of Sams 3 years he threw more touchdowns than Teddy Bs single season career high. Teddy also has like 10 more starts than Sam.

They are not using Treadwater as a scape goat. He is a mediocre QB who was holding the team back.
Treadwater will always hold teams back. Unless the team is perfect he canmt succeed. That is not a franchise QB. Also 15 TDs in a season is terrible. Really pathetic your are still round defending this idiot.

There's a really weird indirect defensiveness of Teddy by some in the red, with plenty of posts, that is just hilarious.  Let us not spend so much energy responding.

The dude is gone.  He's outta here.  Insignificato.  Beta bologne.  A silly muted man who can't make it into the premier Finnish sauna. He gets directed to the mud baths in Denmark.

Yes, it's easy to bash someone online, but he just irks the nerves in such a irritating way.

Goodbye Theodore.  You will not be missed.  You are slightly behind Rodney Peete and ahead of Matt Moore in our history of QBs.

    • Like many of the old heads, I’ve been here for a long time.  I got a lot of respect for everyone on this board for your dedication to this team.  We’ve all been through it during the tougher years. At this point in life, I’m not one to judge anyone’s level of dedication, or their reasons why anymore.  Time, and a lot of bad football, will do that.  For me, it’s simple.  We share a common bond.  For that, I love and appreciate all of you crazy SOB’s. For me, last season was at a minimum, entertaining.  BY lead a young team to multiple come from behind 4th qtr wins.  That showed me heart, and that he has the clutch gene.  That’s the wildcard intangible.  For me, that was fun to watch even  if it was mindbogglingly frustrating at times.  Over the past two seasons, we have progressively built a better team around him.  On paper, the defense should be better this season.  That’ll help.  Let’s see what he can do as the other guys continue to develop too.  Besides, his contract is cheap for a few more years, and we just made some smart cap decisions during the draft. Let’s see how it shakes out.
    • Hiring Shula & his Cam save us playbook.
    • I would very much liked to have seen Jake Delhomme's career if Tommy Jone no hurt Jake.  I just know that roster and the leadership were destined to hit paydirt but Jake was never the same after the elbow injury, and unfortunately he was the sole reason they didn't make it back to the big one.  I think that 08 team was the best in the league, and Jake masked his inability well all season til the Arizona game put it all on display.  I'll go back to the season prior even and say the 07 team was primed to be a competitor.  Jake was off to a fantastic start that year (for a Panthers QB).  They may have been a championship caliber club for a few seasons after 08 too.
