I'm surprised a team didn't take that page from the NBA and make the Panthers pay to trade him. If I was a GM I would. Otherwise I wait for the Panthers to cut Teddy and then sign him later if I wanted him as a backup.

If our dream QB doesn't fall to 8, I don't see us drafting a QB any earlier than the 3rd round and it would only be if trask or mond falls to the 3rd.

I say falls because teams may be desperate enough to take one in the second. I don't believe we are.
