People are fine with us paying 3-5 million a year for players that have never been good but not ok with a cheap one year deal for a player that was actually good at one time.

I’m not saying we should, but Short on a cheap one year deal isn’t that huge of a gamble.

A player that used to be good isn't really worth much.

It typically just makes them cost more than they're really worth now.

Just not a need. We have young players who need the snaps to improve. If he was say a FS I might feel differently.
