yupp..just watched it about a handful of times, and if you watch closely at the 5-second mark, you will notice that Cam trips over his own shadow making it appear that he was molly whopped by a much smaller human.  Nobody panic about our starting left tackle.

Actually it looks like Erving was going down low to make the block, was off balance, and the CB switched directions suddenly.  He did not get "pancaked" by the CB.  It was a very unathletic play by Cam, but hardly a pancake.

You can see the impact from the collision and Erving gets hucked by the far smaller man that doesn't have a head of steam behind him. Was he put of position and off balance? Yes. But he was also trying to shoulder through him and literally got blown up by a guy a 40 lbs heavier than half his weight.
