Yea, I wod say exposing himself.is probably the only real crime he committed. Other than that, I guess it is considered "sexual assault" now to ask a woman for sex...

I still want Watson for the right price, and I have always considered most of this case to be a feminist witch hunt. It seems like he would be charged with a crime by now if anyone can prove he did anything wrong.

Most likely this is women trying to shake him down for money.

Now I will be pooed to hell by all the feminists and white knights who believe women can do no wrong and think a man should go to prison every time a woman makes any claim at all.

Tom Cruise What GIF

This is literally a completely absurd take and I consider myself pretty middle of the road on the whole Watson issue.

I understand. Not everybody is a saint. People can be manipulated.

Not everybody wakes up with good thoughts. Most of us don't get that.

Yeah but he also has proof that the women who he did that with consented to it. His lawyer also had about 20 other women massage therapist give affidavits that he never touched them. Context is key in these situations and if they consented to sex thats blows their credibility a bunch.

I believe he purchased plane tickets to have "massage therapist" flown in. If there is a paper trail and he brought those women in from out of state for the purpose of sex. He could be charged in trafficking. Will he...? Who knows.

Not quite. You have to prove he paid for sex. He can fly anyone he wants anywhere he wants if the sex was not paid for. So like if you tip a waitress $100 and take her home thats not trafficking nor prostitution.

Solicitation is a very broad word and the details determine if it’s federal or not. So far this is civil so the DA doesn’t matter. We absolutely do not know what there is enough evidence of to take to court or not, including the accusations aside from solicitation. What you see in the media is probably 1/100 of all the details. This is an ongoing pending civil case/investigation, the public are not privy to most details.

And a DA certainly will take a case that may or may not have enough evidence based on the situation. I’ve been in numerous cases of he said she said domestic violence cases brought to court by the DA. Hell, more than one where the victim no longer wanted to proceed, and when that happens it’s extremely unlikely anything in court will either. Determining credibility of evidence is largely a responsibility of the court/judge, not the DA.

Well as I said. Its probably the only thing they can charge him for and prove. If they can even prove that.

You know you're in a helluva spot where your best defense is saying, "Listen, I'm a creep. I specifically hired these female massage therapists with the express intention of whipping out my dick and seeing if they'd take the bait. I didn't force them into anything, but yeah I intentionally created these scenarios with the express purpose of creating this very awkward and intensely creepy situation hoping I'd get laid because I've watched way too much Pornhub and it seems to be a setup that works well."

Been sort of reading this thread..

The Deshaun Watson lawsuits: new information—and more context - Sports Illustrated

I don't know what state you all live in but, I know in at least 50 states (US of course) some of these allegations constitute sexual assault.

Underlined allegations because as of now, they're allegations.

Oh and.. some of these allegations refer to the felony degree of sexual assault.

Again....guilty until proven innocent, or is it the other way around?

You can never tell anymore. 🤔

And let me make this clear. Still don't want him here, no way no how.

    • Rico walking is no big deal. I'll take a healthy 2024 Hubbard over Rico any time and losing Mays is, again, no a big deal.  Young is signed for what, $35M for the next two years? Say he wants $50M but the FO doesn't. If they put the franchise tag on him, that would be around $55? So basically they are getting Young for the next 3 years for an average of $30M per year. Putting the franchise tag on him wouldn't be my first choice but it gives them an option that wouldn't be locking him into a long term, $50M contract. I'm not suggestion they do that. Just that the option will be there should they get to that point. Hunt is on a 5 year deal which is done in 28 so he either restructures or is gone anyway. Moton will be 35 by then and will either be gone or have diminished playing time. Neither of those players has anything to do with getting Young a contract. The O line is way overpaid anyway. Hopefully by the time they are gone, Freeling and Hecht will be developed and Ickey will be healthy. Young was benched his second year and only got his job back because Dalton was injured. Not sure how you can call that entitled. And I would NOT say putting a rookie QB on a team with no receivers, tight ends or O lineman and then being put with a coach who never wanted you and is fired mid season, is a definition of luck. As far as competition, no team is going to bring in competition for a QB picked first overall - especially given the capital that was given up to get him.
